Please reach out to your church, school counselors, and if you are in a crisis- there are hotlines above to phone, text, or message on facebook. Also, the Emergency Room is a great place to go or take a loved one when in a crisis.
There are support groups listed daily in the postindependent.com for any needs.
The COMPASSIONATE FRIEND SUPPORT GROUP is for parents or siblings that lost a child/brother/sister and meets at the orchard the first Tuesday of the month at The Orchard Church in Carbondale. VVH hospital has grief support groups that meet regularly and are listed in the support groups. (WITH COVID- groups may be meeting via zoom so reach out first!).
There is NO SHAME in helping yourself or others with mental health or addiction needs.
I am trying to connect the resources to the community!
