I work for SMVLC, an organization that is focusing on the damaging effects 
social media can have on some of our lives. We recently have been featured 
on major publications and media outlets like ABC News and Good Morning 

You may not be surprised to hear about the addicting effects from using 
social media, especially on the younger generations. Studies have shown 
that social media can be as addictive as nicotine, and this addiction is 
linked to lower self-esteem and depression. We have put together an
